Akari

In 2016, I moved from my native Japan to a completely different environment in Vietnam. I started with little and experienced many struggles. I found myself to be a person who complained too much and was disappointed in the many things around me, including myself. Vietnam and the challenging circumstances however, have helped me grow as a person and mature. It has helped me find myself and who I truly am.

Now, it’s the time for me to spread peace and happiness, and that becomes the goal for my life.

My name is Akari Nakatani and I was born in Yao-city, Osaka, Japan, in 1993 with a Japanese father and Taiwanese mother. After graduation from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, I moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2016. I started creating videos on my YouTube channel called “aNcari Room” where I share about my life, food, travel, language, and some singing. This has led me to where I am currently as a YouTube creator and an actor/singer in Vietnam.
